Dr. Milena Cuellar is a Professor of Mathematics and Carnegie National Faculty. Dr. Cuellar is a member of the Executive Committee of LaGuardia's Casa de las Américas and of the advisory council of LaGuardia's CTL. In 2015, she received the Leadership Recognition Award from the Carnegie Foundation. Dr. Cuellar is a member of the core of group of ScienteLab, a nonprofit whose mission is to spark a social transformation by expanding access to high quality STEM education in Colombia, and an international instructor of Clubes de Ciencia Colombia since 2018. She currently is a co-PI in there CUNY grants: BRESI, CUNY OER, and the PSC Cycle 53. Part of the CUNY Math Innovation (MI) Team from 2017 to 2019 and a consultant for the Charles A. Dana Center at the University of Texas to design and facilitate coaching equity data workshops for Higher Ed institutions from 2018 to 2020.
