Dr. Hanna Haydar is the Head of the program in Childhood Mathematics Education at the City University of New York-Brooklyn College where he also teaches graduate mathematics education method and research courses. Dr. Haydar serves also as a doctoral faculty in the Urban Education program at the CUNY Graduate Center. He was previously the Curriculum Standards and Professional Development Adviser at RAND Education and the Supreme Education Council in Doha – Qatar and has served as a consultant to the Ministry of Education in Oman and UAE on curriculum standards development and mathematics education improvement His research interests and publications focus on educational policy, beginning mathematics teachers, inclusion, lesson study and teachers' use of the clinical interview.
