Rabab Abi-Hanna is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education in the Middle and High School Education Department at Lehman College, CUNY. She also serves as co-coordinator and an adviser for the Graduate Program in Middle and Secondary Mathematics Education. Dr. Abi-Hanna’s scholarship in self-study research focuses on exploring the relationships between mathematics teaching practices and learning. She is also interested in exploring the effects of technology on student learning and its impact on their ability to connect mental structures and build deeper understanding of mathematical content.
