Lucy McNair is Professor of English at LaGuardia Community College, where she teaches academic and creative writing. Trilingual, she worked previously as a literary translator and ESL instructor. Parallel to her scholarship on Francophone North African literature and film, she has presented at local and national conferences on moving towards a multilingual paradigm in composition and LaGuardia’s emergent approach to translanguaging pedagogy. She has co-led the Language Across the Curriculum seminar for the LaGuardia Center for Teaching and Learning.
