Dr. Coleman is associate professor of English and co-director of the Writing Program at LaGuardia Community College. She teaches composition courses, the Liberal Arts capstone and World Literatures Written in English. Her research explores the role of linguistic justice in composition, critical reading pedagogies and writing across the curriculum.
