Joseph Caravalho is an Assistant Professor and Manager of the Digital Music program at Hostos Community College. He earned his MFA from Long Island University Brooklyn and his BA from Villanova University. Joseph has been teaching at Hostos for six years. His classes cover a wide range of professional audio topics including music theory, audio engineering, and sound for film. In addition to teaching, Joseph produces music and performs live throughout New York City. Notable projects include his contributions to Trey Songz's "Chapter V" which earned him a gold plaque and his original compositions that were licensed by Nike, BMW, and Audi.
