Jonathan Epstein has been an adjunct in the John Jay Department of History since 2006 and is currently an adjunct associate professor. He has been the de facto military historian. He earned his Ph.D. from the CUNY Graduate Center in 2006 and his book on interwar Belgian defense policy was published by Brill in 2014. This book brings a much-needed Belgian perspective to the Anglophone discussion of that policy. He has been active in the union for years and became a member of the Delegate Assembly around 5 years ago.
