Samantha Barrick, MS is a poet, mother, writer, activist and educator who directs the Humanities in Medicine program at the CUNY School of Medicine. Her poetry and prose has been published in Queering Sexual Violence: Radical Voices From Within the Anti-Sexual Violence Movement (Magnus Books, 2014), The Intima, Mutha Magazine, The Ledge Magazine, & Philadelphia City Paper. GRIT & tender membrane, a manuscript of poetry and memoir, was published by Plan B Press in 2006.
