Odelia Levy, Esq., is an attorney with experience counseling organizations in employment and education matters (diversity, discrimination, Title IX), regulatory compliance, and risk management. Ms. Levy runs the Office of Compliance and Diversity and oversees all internal investigations of unlawful discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct. Ms. Levy provides legal counsel and leadership regarding EEO, Title IX, and affirmative action. She develops strategies to promote diversity, inclusion, and EEO best practices. In addition, she manages EEO and AAP compliance, Title IX compliance, and develops and implements related trainings. Prior to joining BMCC, Ms. Levy practiced employment law and managed internal civil rights investigations and MWBE procurement for the NYC DOE. She also practiced in the private sector. Ms. Levy was appointed to serve as Co-Chair of the REI-SC. Ms. Levy holds a B.A. from Brandeis University, a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and a Cornell University Diversity Management Certificate.
