Pedro Pérez, Ed.D., Director of the College Discovery Program, serves as Co-Chair of the REI Steering Committee. In this capacity as Director, he manages all aspects of the program including counseling, academic support, and student stipends. The staff includes five master’s level counselors, a support coordinator, a College Office Assistant, and 15-20 tutors and coaches. Pedro completed his doctorate at Nova Southeastern University in Educational Leadership. He also holds a master’s degree in counseling and is a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing supervision to graduate interns from Columbia University, and St. John’s University.
