Jeremiah Jurkiewicz (he/him/his) serves as the LGBTQ Resource Center/Pluralism & Diversity Coordinator at the College of Staten Island. He provides support and guidance for LGBTQ+ students while fostering community on campus. He facilitates SafeZone and Ally trainings to teach faculty, staff, and students cultural competency to better support the LGBTQ+ community on campus and advises the college on policies that affect the community. He helps to coordinate programs to honor months of significance and explore issues relevant to pluralism & diversity. He represents CSI on the CUNY LGBTQI+ Council and served as one of the first co-chairs. He helped to organize the first CUNY LGBTQI+ Student Conference.
