Beth Cooper is an adjunct lecturer in the English department and American Studies program at City University of New York, Brooklyn College. Her master's thesis focuses on Indigenous science fiction as a decolonial intervention in educational settings and climate change narratives such as the Anthropocene. She plans to expand this research by collaborating with Indigenous nations and communities to advance land repatriation as a solution to settler-colonial violence and the exploitation of humans and nonhumans in the pursuit of power and capital.
