Michelle Hernandez graduated from The City College of New York (CCNY) with a B.A. in Psychology. She currently works as a research coordinator in two dementia Alzheimer’s studies. Michelle has over five years of research experience working in both an outpatient and inpatient setting, trained in neuropsychological testing in both English and Spanish, neuroimaging, biospecimen collection, and clinical interviewing. Michelle has published and presented various posters in suicide, depression, and dementia Alzheimer’s disease. She has a passion for working with ethnically and racially diverse populations, including Spanish-speaking individuals. She hopes to continue working in research to aid in closing the gap that exists between monolingual Spanish speaking individuals, culture, and treatment interventions for patients.
