Mary Tedeschi has a BBA in Computer Information Systems, a Master of Science in Computer Science, and a Doctorate in Professional Studies in Computer Studies. She has worked as a senior programmer analyst for major corporations for over 20 years. Mary was a Senior Passport Specialist with the US Department of State, Consular Affairs. Her work was related to issuing and evaluating the new biometric passport that contains a chip in which an individual’s personal information is stored, thereby making it nearly impossible for people to forge or use stolen US passports. When she interviewed for the position, she knew that the interviewers were impressed by her research in keystroke biometrics, and her exposure to handwriting recognition. Mary currently teaches high school math and is a part-time college associate professor. She has several research interests and has published papers in ACM and IEEE.
