The Committee on Institutional Equity and Diversity (CIED) invites you to participate in a dialogue on developing student identity within a discipline. Creating equity and inclusion in curriculum and in the classroom includes understanding the importance of fostering and supporting a student’s identity within a discipline.
Moderated by Dr. Kenya Harris, Professor, Nursing, our panelists include:

Our panelists will engage with you in an interactive discussion on why student identity within a discipline is critical to a student’s academic achievement and personal success and share tools on how to support and provide a safe space for the development of student identity.
