CUNY SPS provides free graduation gown packages to students who are experiencing financial difficulties at the time of graduation through our Commencement Closet program.

If you would like to donate your gently used gown, hood, or stole to the Commencement Closet, either now or in the future, you can do so by either mailing it to the address below, or contacting the Commencement team (commencement@sps.cuny.edu) to arrange to drop off at the School directly.

At present, only gowns, hoods, and stoles are accepted for the Commencement closet. We are unable to reuse mortarboards (caps) or tassels.
