Submit a Congratulatory Video

Family and friends of our graduates, we would love for you to be part of this year’s ceremony! You can submit a brief video recording congratulations to your favorite graduate. We may use your footage during the pre-ceremony entertainment, or during the ceremony itself.

Videos should be brief (no more than 10 seconds), and should be recorded for a horizontal screen (so turn that phone or tablet sideways).  Balloons, confetti, streamers... all celebratory props are welcome.

To submit a video, use either option below. Please do not send via email.

Tips for Setting Up Your Shot

  • Have someone film you if possible.  The “back” cameras on the phone are higher resolution.  If you happen to have someone else who can help you do this safely, have them film you from the other side, rather than using the “selfie” camera on the front.  If you have a phone tripod, wow!  Use it.  If not, try to prop your phone up on a table or some other stable surface.  It’s really hard to hold your arm still for very long, and we want nice, steady video.

  • Try to find a well-lit room or, even better, a nice, even natural light source.  You facing a window is great.  You in front of a window = dark silhouette, which is not so great (unless you are in the Witness Protection Program).
