Sabel Vega is a senior majoring in human services and community justice, minoring in Latin American and Latinx Studies, and pursuing a Certificate in Spanish Legal Translation. Years of volunteering in my children's schools highlighted the challenges Latino parents face in education. My focus in social justice is on achieving equity and improved educational access for Latinos.
