Kenny Hirschmann, EdM is the manager of educational technology at the Hunter College School of Education. He is currently a doctoral student (ABD) in Adult Learning & Leadership at Teachers College, and is a Kundalini Yoga Teacher. He has research interests in contemplative pedagogy that have helped him to identify practices that can be used for both self-care and as pedagogical tools in the classroom. Incorporating his 15 years of yoga practice, somatic studies and experience working in higher education, he has many techniques that help to reduce stress and build capacity for empathy and resilience.
