Joy Lee is a student of Nursing at CUNY’s Queensborough Community College and completed the Health Sciences AS degree at QCC in Spring 2023. She advocates for health equity as a human right and is developing clinical research on identity-centered disability self-advocacy, guided by QCC mentors. She strives to understand the pathological manifestations of stigma, and how accessible, affordable, and approachable life choices can improve wellbeing.
