By training, Ian is an Industrial Engineer. By profession, Ian is the President and one of the founders of Dispel, the Vice President of the National Defense Industry Association’s New York-Connecticut Chapter, and a Principal Investigator for Dispel on three projects at the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence.

Dispel builds systems through which equipment and critical assets can be remotely monitored and managed. What sets them apart is their product’s efficiency, purpose-built design for industrial settings, and use of moving target defense network infrastructure. From coffee pod assembly lines to offshore drilling rigs, Dispel is found where plant uptime and cyber security are considered critically important. Outside of heavy industry, Dispel is used by the water supplies of roughly 40 million people, 600,000 acres of irrigation systems, 2,200 miles of canals, and over 5% of the world’s data centers. Dispel was founded in late 2014.
