Dr. Sterns is the founder and CEO of iRxReminder, a medication management platform to help those living with mental health disorders to achieve and sustain independence. Dr. Sterns is an Adjunct Professor in the Business and in the Research Administration and Compliance program at CUNY SPS. Dr. Sterns is a recognized national expert in gerontechnology and a pioneer in the application of mobile computers and smartphones for improving the quality of life for individuals living with chronic illness. Dr. Sterns has over 20-years’ experience in designing and bringing to market products and services for the silver industries marketplace. He is a Fellow of APA Division 20 and a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America. Dr. Sterns is Secretary-General of the International Society of Gerontechnology where he also serves as an Associate Editor for the Society’s journal, Gerontechnology.
