Sam Crandall, EdD, is a learning support professional dedicated to enhancing the neurodivergent student experience. She is the Manager of the Learning Commons and the creator of ND SUCCESS, a neurodiversity student success program at Phoenix College. As an Autistic educator, Sam hosts professional development opportunities about neurodiversity for faculty and staff to create neurofriendly spaces in our classrooms and on our campuses. Lori A. Wischnewsky, PhD,is an ADHDer who studies neurodiversity and systemic barriers in postsecondary education. She is the coordinator for NeuroCats, a support program for autistic and neurodivergent students at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Lori is dedicated to improving student services and nonacademic supports for neurodivergent students, as well as educating faculty and staff about the barriers neurominority students face in a traditional education system.
