Sydney is a graduate student in the Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology program and a member of Dr. Margaret Lumley’s Resilient Youth Research Group at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. As an autistic researcher, Sydney integrates lived experience with academic training to inform strengths-based approaches to supporting autistic students in educational settings. Grounded in principles of positive psychology, Sydney’s work emphasizes well-being, flourishing, and the creation of inclusive environments that recognize and celebrate neurodivergent identities.
