Karly serves as a Postdoctoral Research Associate for Project PEACES. She recently completed her Ph.D. in Education and Inequality (with concentrations in disability in higher education and research methods) at The George Washington University. Prior to receiving her Ph.D., Karly earned a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) degree from The University of Virginia. She previously worked at a health policy advocacy organization before attending graduate school. As a chronically ill/disabled scholar, much of Karly’s research focuses on how to better support disabled college students through targeted higher education policy and practice reform. Her work has been featured in journals such as Journal of Diversity in Higher Education, Journal of Postsecondary Education and Disability, and Disability in Society.
