Kimberly Sanford is a current undergraduate student at the State University of New York at New Paltz, with a major in Adolescent Education: English and a minor in Deaf Studies. In addition to this coursework, Kimberly has worked closely with Dr. April Coughlin in developing a Disability Studies Series on the New Paltz campus and continues her Disability Rights advocacy inside and outside of academia. She is a current teacher candidate who works toward building an inclusive curriculum and classroom through the integration of diverse materials and DS framework in each lesson.
