If you are among the first in your family to go to college, you know that navigating through college can be both exciting and terribly confusing. Dr. Carla Marquez-Lewis (Director, Psychology Program) and Dr. Elizabeth Alsop (Director, Communication & Media Program) team up for a conversation about the hurdles faced by “first generation” students as well as strategies and tools for successfully overcoming the obstacles.
