Nulty brings over a decade of experience as an English and ESOL Department Head, along with a deeply personal commitment to advancing understanding of autism and neurodiversity. As an adult diagnosed Autistic person, he offers a powerful combination of lived experience and professional expertise. His work as an Autism & Neurodiversity Consultant is grounded in both research and real-world insight, allowing him to provide meaningful, practical perspectives on supporting neurodivergent individuals in educational and professional settings. A graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in Modern Studies, Nulty began his career in the financial printing and research industry before answering a call to education. He earned his Advanced Professional Certificate in Maryland and began teaching in Prince George's County Public Schools. He currently serves as an English Department Chair for Montgomery County Public Schools. Nulty is passionate about helping neurodivergent individuals thrive by embracing their strengths, developing strong self-advocacy skills, and building essential college and career readiness tools. His dedication to empowering individuals to recognize and realize their potential makes him a compelling and insightful voice on neurodiversity.
