Dr. Lystra Huggins received her higher education degrees at CUNY including a PhD in psychology from the Graduate Center, where she concentrated on environmental and cultural psychology. Her principal research interests are Caribbean immigration and remigration, place identity, attachment and dependency, models of mentoring, first-year college success and women's leadership.
