Mabel Munachiso Korie, RN, PhDc is a tenured assistant professor at Medgar Evers College. She holds MS and PhD degrees in nursing from Molloy University, along with certifications in mental health. Dr. Korie has taught courses in the PN, AAS and the BS programs. She has conducted and published several research articles. She is a college student advisor and she conducts public events and community activities. Dr. Korie has twenty five years of nursing service in the areas of mental health, nursing education, nursing informatics, community health and Medical-Surgical Nursing. She also has more than 17 years clinical, nursing education and managerial experience. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau and American Psychological Association (APA).
