Leyla Caballero is a second-year student at Hostos Community College and is completing her nursing pre-requisites. She was part of the HOPE Program in 2023 and continued to work with parenting students as a federal work study employee for the HOPE Program. She is Mom to London and Charley, who joined her in the HOPE Program. Leyla is the recipient of the Kwanza Award and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship.
