Dr. Kimberly Colclough is a native of Brooklyn, NY and a researcher that focuses on the intersectionality of race, gender, and education, with a specific emphasis on the mentoring experiences of Black women. Through her work, she aims to dismantle barriers and create inclusive environments that foster growth and self-empowerment. Her research was recently published in the New York Academy of Public Education Research Journal (NYAPE). She is a counselor in the SEEK program at New York City College of Technology, and is an adjunct professor in the Africana Studies department at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
