Jonathan Webb has over 30 years of experience in investment banking and private equity. His core competencies include M&A, capital raising, principal investing, strategic planning and business development. He is recognized for incorporating innovative structures, distinctive securities and entrepreneurial approaches while partnering with accomplished leadership teams and advising them on to meeting strategic objectives. Proficient at communicating unique concepts, Mr. Webb often facilities strategic plans that lead to high-value deal opportunities. He enjoys an established network of private equity investors, family offices, investment bankers, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, attorneys and lenders.

He is a co-founder of and advisor to Legacy Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: “LGC”) (“Legacy”) - a $300 million Special Purpose Acquisition Company (“SPAC”). It is the first African-American led SPAC to list on the New York Stock Exchange and includes 7 CEOs/CFOs and 27 current/former public company board directors. Legacy has announced the signing of a definitive agreement for a $265.0 million business combination that would result in Onyx becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of Legacy. Onyx is the owner and operator of, among other verticals, “CARiD.com,” a leading digital commerce platform for the automotive aftermarket estimated to be approximately $400 billion.

Additionally, Mr. Webb sourced the Quality Control Corporation transaction, raised the equity and co-led the acquisition. While serving on the board and the compensation committee, he led the acquisitions of Numerical Precision Inc., A&K Machining and the Woodward Parts Division. Mr. Webb previously worked in investment banking at Duff & Phelps as a Managing Director in Mergers & Acquisitions, a Vice President at Lehman Brothers and in various other roles at Oppenheimer & Company, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce Oppenheimer and Loop Capital Principal Investments.

He has a B.A. in finance from Morehouse College and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School at Columbia University. Other studies include the London Business School, Kellogg School of Management and Rotman School of Management / University of Toronto. His for profit and not for profit board experiences includes Quality Control Corp, The LOM Group (Chairman), Tooling Technologies (Observer) Grace Capital Management, Sunshine Enterprises, Chicago Fellowship, Jobs For Youth (Chair), and Sunshine Gospel Ministries (Board President).
