Jenet Ferris is a relationship builder, communications, and marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in the areas of marketing, community outreach, branding, and public relations. She was most recently the Chief Marketing Officer at Club Fit, a luxury health and fitness club in Westchester, NY. She's now the new founder and chief cheerleader at Pause, a marketing and PR firm. Non-profits, philanthropic companies and educational institutions in New York that want to communicate their stories externally and increase awareness rely on her to encourage and direct more people to stop, long enough to listen to a good story. Prior to this executive and entrepreneurial role, she held a variety of roles in the agency, corporate and non-profit worlds. Additionally, her knowledge base lies in various industries including health and wellness, healthcare, financial services, luxury hospitality and travel/economic development. She obtained her bachelors degree from S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Additionally, her volunteer spirit has led to partnerships at many non-profits and she has served as a Board member of HOPE for Youth Foundation for the last past nine years.
