Speaker Bio
My business and academic experience includes over 30 years of management experience in the technology industry and over 17 years of adjunct teaching experience at the university level.
I’ve served in senior management positions with both Arthur Andersen and The New York Times Company. In my role as Director with the New York Times, my responsibilities included technology strategic planning, research and development, budgeting, and financial management. Prior to joining the Times, I served as a Senior Manager in the technology department with Arthur Andersen LLP. In this role I was responsible for telecommunications research and strategy, managing projects, supervising operational staff, formulating budgets, and procurement.
I’ve taught various technology and business management courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level for a number of metropolitan New York area colleges and universities including CUNY, Stony Brook University, Touro College, Concordia College, and the College of Saint Elizabeth. I received an undergraduate degree from Fordham University in history and a Master’s degree from NYU in public administration.
