Tye E. Brown is a father of four, was born and “predominantly” raised along with his identical-twin brother, older sister and two older brothers in the borough of The Bronx, NYC. For over twenty years Tye has managed and direct the operations for various Banks, Thrifts, and Financial Services institutions; specializing in Mortgage Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Underwriting and Default Loan Servicing.
Tye has held leadership roles as company recruiter, trainer, and Compliance Officer. He has managed collection departments, correspondence departments, and the loss mitigation, foreclosure and bankruptcy teams within legal departments for multibillion-dollar organizations; adding value to their management team, operations and profitability.
Having initially achieved academic success in the realm of electronics engineering and technology, Tye returned to college after close to a two decade long hiatus and achieve further academic success within the realm of the CUNY system; having earned an A.S. in Business Management via CUNY-Eugenio Maria De Hostos Community College, B.S. in Business and M.S. in Business Management & Leadership via CUNY-School of Professional Studies.
Additionally, Tye is an active member of the CUNY-SPS chapter of “The National Society for Leadership & Success” (); aspiring to earn his MBA (concentration in Real Estate) via CUNY-Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business, JD in (concentration in Financial Services & Compliance) via New York Law School, and eventual PhD in Business (concentration in Real Estate) via Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business under the auspices of CUNY’s Graduate Center.
Due to the pandemic, Tye elected to suspend enrolling in school this Fall semester, but based on his performance as an adult-student at CUNY-SPS, he has been selected to be amongst the first class of Cornell Law School scholars to graduate from their Master of Science in Legal Studies program; with classes beginning (online) this January 2021 and graduation scheduled for August 2022.
