Day in The Life Series
This series introduces students to various professionals within the Psychology discipline to learn about the paths to their careers, a day in their professional life, and how it all fits with the broader subfields covered in CUNY SPS' undergraduate and graduate Psychology degree programs.
The MA in Psychology Program’s Day in the Life series provides students with an opportunity to learn about, and speak directly with, those actively working in the fields of Industrial/Organizational (I/O) and Developmental Psychology (or related areas), the two concentrations offered in the program. During this event, Dr. Marcello will discuss her path to Psychology, past and current positions, and how it all ties to the broader field of Developmental Psychology.
Learn about various aspects of academic writing (including lots of APA style tips and tricks), research, and careers within the Psychology discipline.
Writing academic papers can be challenging. In 30 minutes, you can learn tips and techniques that will help you write with clarity, precision, and cohesion.
In this 30-minute Lunch and Learn, students will learn about setting up their papers, citation, and tools they can use to master APA Writing style
Psychology is a diverse discipline with a number of different applications. In this Lunch and Learn, we will discuss which career options are available for different Psychology degrees including a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and PhD/PsyD.
