Ethlyn holds an M.S.Ed. in Science Education from Queens College and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the CUNY Graduate Center. She is an adjunct faculty member in Educational Psychology at Queens College, Department of Secondary Education. With over a decade of experience as a science educator, she specializes in working with neurodivergent students at FlexSchool. Dr. Saltzman�s research has focused on mathematical discourse, fostering student participation, and the representation of gender diversity in autism research. Her work aims to foster curiosity and cultivate a deep appreciation for the natural world while supporting diverse learning needs. Additional Presenters;Samuel Henderson: Samuel Henderson is a twice-exceptional advocate and student at Flexschool Bronxville. He has run an advocacy group, Autists for Change, and has spoken at the CUNY Neurodiversity Conference 2024. Ari Newman: Ari Newman is an autistic, twice-exceptional individual taking a gap year between high school and college. He will be attending Oberlin College, where he hopes to study Philosophy, Neuroscience, and Music Composition. Ari is a passionate Doctor Who fan (Whovian) and a lover of French Existentialism. He is a published poet, and his work will be featured in the spring 2025 teen issue of the �Inlandia Institute� poetry magazine. He also recently played guitar in the pit for the regional premiere of the musical �The Hello Girls�.
