She has a myriad of experiences with intersectional communities, including DeafBlind, LGBTQA+, and Deaf+. Rachel developed and coordinated a comprehensive university-wide ADA compliance plan to address barriers. She works as an Accommodations Coordinator supporting students with disabilities. Rachel participated on boards and committees, focusing on improving access to resources and services. She spoke on panels at schools, universities, and the White House. Rachel worked with national-level and non-profit organizations, focusing on disability policy, advocacy, and outreach. She brought her voice to Capitol Hill to discuss policies and issues that impacted people with disabilities on individual and systemic levels.
