During this session participants will explore the juxtaposition between two lesson planning practices (EDC Accessibility Strategies and Universal Design for Learning) and how each is implemented in a mathematics classroom. This will allow them to investigate what they already do in their classes and ways to increase access for all students, including those with disabilities.

Participants will be exposed to practical examples of these lesson planning strategies as well as given the opportunity to explore implementation in their own practice and get feedback from others in attendance. Participants will also do math during the session and explore various strategies for accessibility through these experiences.
